Bowfell - The perfect retreat
Bowfell is a comfortable and friendly bed & breakfast ideally situated close to Keswick town centre and the historical Castlerigg Stone Circle at the heart of the Northern Lake District.
The guest rooms have views of Grisedale Pike, Catbells, Blencathra and Latrigg, whilst the private car park at the rear of the property allows guests access to explore the woodland close by.
Great base for walking
There are several scenic walks from Bowfell into Keswick town centre or to the surrounding local fells. Just minutes walk from the b&b is the scenic old railway footpath taking you across the river Greta and into the idyllic Fitz Park. Keswick town centre has an abundance of shops, pubs and restaurants, and has a cinema and a theatre on the shores of Lake Derwentwater.
When arriving at Bowfell, you will be greeted with a welcoming drink and plenty of advice on walks, touring or cycle routes to help you make the most of your stay.
